A return to the source language.
Burgundy has always been part of the inner architecture of 00 Wines. The project began in Oregon with a desire to understand whether Willamette Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir could carry the precision, restraint, and textural clarity of the great European tradition.
For Chris Hermann, Burgundy is not about imitation. It is about discipline: listening to the climat, respecting the weight of history, and allowing limestone, marl, clay, slope, and season to set the terms.
