00 Wines began in Oregon with one question: could Willamette Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir carry the precision of the great white Burgundies? Working in Burgundy itself is how Chris Hermann keeps testing the answer.
The wines are made at Château de Bligny-lès-Beaune. The same two grapes as in Oregon, the same practices in the cellar, a different hillside. The comparison runs in both directions, and both places are better for it.

Château de Bligny-lès-Beaune
Guillaume Lafon and Pierre Meurgey make these wines with Chris and Maxence. The fruit is pressed and raised at the château, a few minutes from the vineyards it came from.
The oak is built by Damy in Meursault and the corks come from Aquitaine Liège, the same as every other wine in the house.
