The Vineyard

A high-elevation site of stone, wind, and saline clarity.

Koosah Vineyard sits high in the Eola-Amity Hills, one of the AVA’s elevated and wind-shaped sites, with vines planted on steep slopes between roughly 700 and 1,100 feet.

The vineyard is marked by richly layered volcanic basalt and ancient marine sediment, giving Chardonnay a profile of smoky mineral tone, citrus brightness, wet stone, salinity, and orchard-fruit depth.

For 00 Wines, Koosah speaks through high-elevation tension, luminous fruit, and a precise mineral frame that carries length and quiet power.

Site Character

Elevated. Rocky. Saline.

Koosah’s steep, rocky slopes and high elevation bring a cool, lifted character to Chardonnay, framed by volcanic basalt, ancient marine sediment, and the air movement of the Eola-Amity Hills.

The resulting wines move through Meyer lemon, nectarine, orchard fruit, wet stone, flint, saline length, and smoky mineral precision.
