Safeguarding Your 00 Wines Year-Round: Temperature Control Shipping

At 00 Wines, every bottle is treated with the same precision and care with which it was crafted. To ensure each shipment arrives in pristine condition, we partner with Wineshipping’s Temperature Control Service, offering year-round protection against extreme weather: both winter frost or summer heat.

How It Works

Weekly Departures

Shipments leave Wineshipping McMinnville warehouse every Tuesday via temperature-controlled freight, maintained at a consistent 55°F throughout transit.

From there, the shipments leave the Napa warehouse every Friday via temperature-controlled freight, maintained at a consistent 55°F throughout transit.

Nationwide Coverage

Packages travel to four key hub locations—Missouri (MO), New York (NY), Texas (TX), and Georgia (GA)—providing reliable, climate-stable shipping across the country.

Coordinated Warehouses

Orders originating from our Oregon warehouses are consolidated in Napa before joining the Friday Temperature Control truck.

Final Mile Delivery

Once your wines reach the hub nearest you, local carriers complete the final mile delivery, typically within 1–2 days, barring unforeseen delays.

Optional Ice Pack Service

For additional protection during the final stage of delivery, ice packs may be added at the hub. To utilize this service, please ensure your order data includes the required identification.

Hub Map

Map notes: The states in the color light yellow on the west coast are within a 2 day shipping range from Oregon. Therefore, Temperature Control shipping is unnecessary and unavailable. Ice packs in shipment boxes are functional for these 2 days in transit for these regions and states.

Temperature Control State Exceptions 

For the following states: Alabama, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, due to stringent interstate alcohol shipping regulations, 00 Wines ships using an alternative service from the Newberg Mailroom Wine Services in Newberg, Oregon. Temperature Control shipping is not available for these states, so current wait times to ship orders are longer.

Notifications

For temperature control shipping states: clients will be notified as the wines are preparing for shipment, when the tracking number is issued, the day before delivery, and upon delivery via email and text messages.

For the temperature control state exceptions, clients will be notified when the tracking number is issued, and upon delivery via email.

We ship 1 day air International Priority for International shipments. Please contact us for pricing and current shipping wait times.

When Chris Hermann started 00 Wines of Willamette Valley, Oregon, with his late father Richard Hermann in 2013, he did not foresee the growth and recognition the small family business would soon receive.

The passion project began with five barrels of pinot noir – the first batch of an experimental vintage, followed by a widely released vintage in 2015.

Then in 2019, the family business experienced its first industry triumph. In a ranking of more than 3,000 American wines, James Suckling recognized one Oregon chardonnay on its annual list of Top 100 USA Wines of 2019 – the 2017 Willamette Valley Eola-Amity Hills Freya Hermann Cuvée.
