00 WINES | SHIPPING POLICIES

 

Navigating the shipment of fine wines has become increasingly challenging due to unpredictable weather patterns and evolving direct-to-consumer compliance regulations. Please be advised that shipping timelines may be affected by differing state regulations, potentially resulting in delays for some orders.

At 00 Wines, we are committed to delivering your allocation of fine wine under optimal conditions. To achieve this goal, we have meticulously crafted policies aimed at ensuring your enjoyment of 00 Wines for years to come.

Please take a moment to review our shipping policies outlined below:

Order/Shipping Timeline

– Orders will be shipped as close to the release date as possible, contingent upon weather conditions. We will contact you prior to shipping to confirm someone will be available to sign for the package.

– Shipment dates will be communicated to you in advance and remain at our discretion. Adjustments may be made to accommodate national weather conditions, with any delays promptly communicated to you.

– Please review your billing and shipping addresses at least 7 days prior to the scheduled shipment date.

Carrier Policies

– 00 Wines primarily utilizes ground shipping, though we accommodate requests for 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air where preferred. You can specify your carrier preference during the checkout process, if needed.

– Any changes to shipping addresses must be communicated to clientservice@00wines.com or text to +1-971-832-9900 at least 7 days before the confirmed ship date to avoid carrier-generated Corrections Fees. Corrections made on your account will NOT modify any outstanding orders.

– An adult signature with proof of age verification is mandatory upon delivery. Please ensure someone over the age of 21 is available to receive the package.

– Carriers will make three delivery attempts before returning the package to the sender. Customers will be responsible for any associated costs incurred due to unsuccessful delivery attempts.

– All relevant tracking information will be emailed to the address associated with the shipping details once the carrier scans the shipping label at pickup.

Account/Delivery Changes

– Clients can conveniently update their contact information, including shipping and billing addresses, via the Client Portal. Please note that changes made after order finalization require confirmation from us to ensure proper adjustment.

– To avoid carrier-generated Corrections Fees, any changes to shipping addresses or account names must be made at least 7 days before the confirmed ship date.

Additional Charges

We will charge to card on file for any additional charges incurred as follows:

– Address change: $30
– Returned order (per box): $40
– Reshipped order: same as initial shipping charge
– Canceled order: $25 for restocking fee

Weather Policy

– We prioritize shipping as soon as weather conditions permit. During periods of high heat or extreme cold, we may hold your order and monitor the weather to ensure optimal shipping conditions.

– For destinations experiencing temperatures above 75 degrees, we recommend upgrading to expedited shipping services or purchasing ice packs at an additional cost.

– While we exercise discretion in adjusting shipping dates, any revisions will be communicated with you beforehand.

Pickups

– Pickup options are available Monday to Friday, between 10 am and 3 pm, at our McMinnville office. Pickup appointments must be scheduled and confirmed at least one week in advance.

Damaged Product

– All sales are final, but in the unlikely case where you encounter a flawed bottle, please contact us at +1-971-832-9900 or send an email to clientservice@00wines.com to discuss replacement options.

– Please inspect all packages as soon as they are received. In the unlikely case that you receive a bottle broken during transit or delivery, please contact us at +1-971-832-9900 or send an email to clientservice@00wines.com within 48 hours of receipt of your order(s), so that we can initiate a claim with the shipping company. Please keep the packaging and its contents exactly as you found them, if possible, and send a photo of your orders(s) to the email address above with evidence of the damage. Depending on the nature of the damage, we may arrange to have the wine picked up from the delivery location. Damaged packages cannot be processed more than 10 days post-delivery.

If the damaged package cannot be retrieved, we cannot receive compensation from the carrier for the loss.

If our carriers note damage has occurred to your package(s), they are instructed to halt transit of your wine and either discard the box and contents or return it to our warehouse immediately. Affected recipients in this situation will be notified as soon as possible regarding damaged shipments.

All 00 Wines are stored in a temperature-controlled environment and are in excellent condition upon leaving our fulfillment center. Any return claim due to a defect in the product will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. A replacement of the same bottling, bottle of comparable vintage, or bottle of similar price point may be offered. In this instance, please keep the bottle, its unused contents, and the cork and we may arrange for the bottle to be returned to 00 Wines. Wine should not be returned without prior approval from 00 Wines.
