The House of 00
Founded in 2015 and offered at Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, our wines taste like the places they are from: exceptional parcels of micro climats in Burgundy, Champagne, and the Willamette Valley.
The House Philosophy
We eschew trends. We don’t make fashionable wines. We don’t have a chef, or a tasting room, or a gorgeous vineyard view. Instead, we practice the radical act of making classical wines, with technical craft and skill, with the finest fruit, rare oak and the best natural corks available in the world.
We are the Savile Row of wine. Like expert tailors, we care only about the excellence of every line and curve that you feel when you taste 00 Wines. Wine, like fabric, has texture. We pay attention to finely knit tannins, and lacy refined mouthfeel.
In a world where brands build cultures, we understand that you already have your own personal taste that you have developed over years of discernment. Our offering to you is our work, in a bottle. We don’t build a brand world for you. We want our wines to become a part of a world that you have created for yourself.

The House Heritage
00 "Double Zero" wines was founded in 2015 in the Willamette Valley of Oregon based on a singular radical premise: Chardonnay is the future of this region.
Today a small team of craftspeople makes the wines in Oregon and France, alongside partners in Burgundy and Champagne. No tasting room, no wine club. Small lots, sold direct, until they are gone.
The House History
From one valley in Oregon to Burgundy and Champagne.

The House Locations
We make our wines in the regions where the grapes are grown. We live in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, and in Beaune, Burgundy, and travel among our winemaking facilities throughout the year for harvest, élevage, blending, and bottling.
Willamette Valley
Where 00 Wines began. Pioneers of Black Chardonnay in Oregon, with each wine bottled under the name of its vineyard: Seven Springs, Shea, Hyland, Chehalem Mountain, Koosah, Royer, and Stardance.
Burgundy
The birthplace of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Made at Château de Bligny-lès-Beaune with Guillaume Lafon and Pierre Meurgey.
Champagne
Radically terroir-driven Grand Cru Champagne, made with Champagne Paul Launois.
The House Craft and Materials
None of it is a bargain. All of it is in the glass.
Fruit
We own no vineyards, so we choose the best farmers. Every grower we work with farms biodynamically or organically, and we pick when the fruit is ready.
Oak
Barrels from Tonnellerie Damy in Meursault, seasoned outdoors for 24 to 36 months and toasted over fire, by hand, to our specification.
Cork
Whole natural cork from Aquitaine Liège, a family-run house outside Bordeaux. Every batch is lab-tested and sorted twice, by machine and by hand.

“This is about pushing Chardonnay to its capacity and giving Pinot its voice in a place like Oregon.”
