00 Wines produces distinctive Blanc de Blancs champagne from the grand cru village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
In 2017, Kathryn and Chris Hermann were introduced to Sarah and Julien Launois on a raucous wine tasting trip through the Champagne region. They were impressed by the Launois family's hospitality, creativity, and wines.
Julien's father Jean-Pierre was a récoltant-coopérateur in the village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for over 40 years. After serving as President of the village co-op, his son's family took over the estate to become a récoltant-manipulant (grower producer).
00 Wines now works collaboratively with the Launois family to create unique Blanc de Blancs champagne selections to import into the US. The Hermann family travels frequently to visit Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for blending trials, dosage trials, and barrel selection.
We offer our Grand Cru Champagne directly to our wine club members and elite brokers only.
Champagne selections from the Côte des Blancs are among the most celebrated sparkling wines in the world because of the unique terroir that produces high acid Chardonnay fruit with sublime minerality.
Producing grand cru champagne is not only labor intensive, but extremely time intensive, especially for our vintage champagne offerings. We are excited to work with Julien Launois to bring the ultimate expression of the Côte des Blancs to our wine club members and the customers of our elite brokers.
Our VGW, EGW, and VGR blends are available on our website and in fine restaurants and retailers.
Only our list members have access to our single vineyard Willamette Valley wines, our imported Burgundies and Champagnes, and elite members-only events and dinners around the world.
